Description
Provided Structural Engineering Design and Construction Administration Services for a new resort style, four-story hotel facility located on Route 24. Along with more than 100 rooms, the new Hotel includes an outdoor pool with cabanas and tiki bar, an indoor heated pool and hot tub and nearly 4,000 square feet of meeting space, among other amenities. Post-tensioned concrete was used for the construction of each level to optimize floor span lengths and provide structural durability without the need for excessive columns, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Along with the hotel rooms, the new facility consists of retail/restaurant services, coffee shop, fitness area, meeting room, and other miscellaneous hotel support spaces.

Provided Structural Engineering Design and Construction Administration Services for the transformation of a former Burger King into the all-new Taco Reho, a vibrant and modern eatery in Rehoboth Beach, DE. This exciting renovation includes the removal of the front glass dining room area, making way for a new wood-framed front structure that enhances both functionality and curb appeal. To ensure a seamless adaptation of the existing space, our design incorporates new parapets on existing roof trusses while strategically reusing existing structural elements wherever possible. Through a comprehensive site evaluation, we assessed existing conditions to support a smooth renovation process.
